Visa guidance.

Most visitors to Oman can enter on a short-stay tourist visa. Here’s a general overview for COMEX 2027 attendees — including the eVisa, GCC residents and exemptions.

Please note: visa rules and fees change. The information below is a general guide only. Always confirm the latest requirements for your nationality on the Royal Oman Police eVisa portal (evisa.rop.gov.om) or with your nearest Omani embassy before you travel.

Oman eVisa

Many nationalities can apply online for a tourist eVisa before travel via the Royal Oman Police portal. Single-entry visas are commonly issued for short stays — apply a few days ahead.

GCC Residents

Residents of other GCC countries in eligible professional categories may be able to obtain a visa on arrival or via the eVisa portal, subject to conditions. Check your residency status first.

Visa-Free Entry

Citizens of GCC states and selected nationalities may enter Oman without a prior visa for short stays. Eligibility and duration vary — verify against the official list.

Applying for an eVisa

Four simple steps.

Check Eligibility

Confirm your nationality’s requirements and the correct visa type on the official ROP eVisa portal.

Apply Online

Complete the application with your passport details and upload the required documents and photo.
